Kim da Motta is a Swiss-Brazilian photographer and videographer based in Lucerne, Switzerland. Her interest lies on the human body, expressions of identity and gender.
In her recent works, she combines this focus with visual research into issues of surveillance and artificial intelligence. Through appropriation of visual languages from the fields of science, surveillance technology and gaming, she finds ways to link her theoretical research with her artistic practice.
